As a member of the Boulder Jewish Community, like many others, I have been struggling with the heartbreaking and terrifying antisemitic terrorist attack targeting Run For Their Lives and the overall bombardment of antisemitism across the country. In order to take action and use my business for good, I am offering, for a limited time, 20-minute and 30-minute outdoor photo sessions for couples and families where 75% of proceeds will benefit the JEWISHcolorado Boulder Security Fund. Families and couples can book a 20-minute session for $200 or a 30-minute session for $250. I will be offering this thru June 30th, 2025 but session dates can take place through December 31, 2025.
Step 3: After reviewing the relevant guide above, identify possible dates and times that will work for your family, keeping in mind evening magic hour timing (the hour before sunset) or for fall and winter sessions (morning sessions are available for the hour after sunrise). The most important part of session timing with little ones is planning around their napping and eating schedule to ensure happy kiddos (and please bring snacks)! Secondary is the time of day to allow for that special “magic hour/golden hour” glow.
Step 4: Complete the contact form here and enter “JewishPride” for the Promo Code. Please include the age(s) and names of all members included in family sessions and preferred date(s) and time(s) in the “details” section.
Step 5: Rachael will contact you to finalize details for the photo sessions to determine time, date (along with rain date), and location.
Step 6: Rachael will deliver your contract and invoice via email. Payment is required in full at the time of booking
Step 7: Upon receiving payment, Rachael will make a donation of $150 for 20min sessions and $187.50 for 30min sessions and will email you directly with confirmation of the donation.
Step 8: Rachael will check in to see if you need any assistance with coordinating outfits and confirm the weather looks cooperative leading up to the scheduled session.
Step 9: After the session, photos will be delivered within 2-3 weeks via web gallery.
FAQs:
Are pets allowed? Yes, four-legged friends are always welcome! I’m a dogmom myself! No snakes or reptiles please, otherwise you will scare your photographer!
Can this be used towards senior photos? Yes.
Can the location of my shoot take place outside of Boulder? Yes but depending on the request of the location, additional travel fees may be incurred.
Can this be used for indoor sessions? No.
Can we include grandparents or additional adults beyond immediate parents? Absolutely but this will incur a fee of $25 per additional adult to account for additional editing time.
I’d love to do this on a flower farm or at Denver Botanic Gardens, can we do the session there? Absolutely, some locations require a photography permit so those permit fees would be additional expenses that would be added to your session.
Can I purchase a voucher now to support the fundraiser and schedule a date at a later time? Yes. Bookings will need to be scheduled before December 31, 2025.
What if it rains on our selected date? Rachael will reach out 48hrs before your session to discuss weather concerns and a mutually-agreed-upon date will be selected for rescheduling.
Can this be applied towards newborn sessions, headshots, events, engagements, elopements, or weddings? No, these require very detailed editing and this discount cannot be applied to these sessions.
