Thanks so much for stopping by! My name is Rachael and I'm a NYC and Boston–based freelance photographer specializing in natural light lifestyle photography capturing special life moments including proposals, engagements, weddings, family celebrations, family portraits, and events of all kinds. I love finding the beauty and joy in everyone and everything! As the granddaughter of a ballet dancer and watercolor painter, I spent much of my youth wearing ballet shoes armed with paints and pastels; these influences bring a unique painterly eye to my images. I adore working with children and finding their special unfiltered personalities and capturing the natural and relaxed joy and love between families.
I am available in New York City (and the surrounding areas), Boston, Philadelphia, and South Florida in addition to being available to travel domestically and internationally for weddings and project-based assignments. I am conversational in French and fluent in nodding/smiling/hand gestures with non-English or French speaking clients (I've worked with Russian and Korean speaking clients and we made it work)! Looking forward to hearing from you!

My work has been featured in Book of the Month, Helles Paris, The Morgan Museum and Library, The Dirty Blondes, Man Booker Prize, Chapo Charlo Eco-Chick.com, Eco Cult, Fluent City, Lucky Honey, Cyc Fitness, Sacred Sounds Yoga, Christine Malossi Yoga, Third Street Music School, and various non-profits including Binghamton University, Blue Engine, NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts, and YRF Darca. When my camera needs a rest, I can be found on a yoga mat, baking healthy muffins, hiking, or in French class. À bientôt!
